Experience:
5 years The Marketing Analyst will support our client's Marketing entity in a variety of areas, with an emphasis on data management, analytics, accounting, and compliance related functions.
Internal communication is required with various departments including Legal, Treasury, IT, Financial Reporting, and Accounting along with external communication with companies with whom Marketing transacts its business.
This position is based in Houston, Texas.
Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.
Roles & Responsibilities Prepare monthly Accounting files, including crude net realized pricing Liaison between commercial groups, auditors and Accounting Track contractual volume commitments Work closely with Marketing team to understand the commercial business Lead Marketing data management and analytics efforts:
o Represent Marketing on companywide Data Governance team o Manage ongoing processing and maintenance of existing Marketing automation o Primary IT contact to scope and implement additional analytics projects Provide innovative perspective to establish efficient processes Work cross-functionally to move necessary department projects forward Handle other duties and projects as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree 5 years relevant experience in oil and gas marketing or accounting Oil and gas industry experience Knowledge of oil and gas accounting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Innovative mindset, eager to learn new technology Excellent communication skills Ability to meet deadlines Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with EMK3 system and M-Files Job Type:
Full-time.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
