Summary:
The Buyer Planner I will be responsible for the security of supply and ensure cost savings for materials purchased throughout the organization.
The Buyer Planner I will be responsible for the procurement and scheduling of goods and services to meet requirements necessary to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Supports the Procurement Life Cycle, including PO process in compliance with Company policies and procedures Ensures cross-functional communication with internal stakeholders to enable best practices for the procurement of goods and services Negotiates with suppliers on best PO terms, on-time delivery, Incoterms, and pricing Ensures suppliers are meeting Company standards and expectations Assists Sourcing Specialists with Vendor Relationship Management as needed Supports the supplier evaluation process and makes recommendations for preferred suppliers and secondary/tertiary souring Ensures that established supplier KPIs are tracked and enforced Works closely with individual departments to understand customer requirements and assists in providing solutions to specialized customer requests Prepares reports as requested by supervisors or as required by procedures Supports the procurement department as needed for various goals and assignments Performs other duties as assigned To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or Natural Sciences with 1
years of experience or 3
years of direct related experience in lieu of degree Hands on experience with Oracle or other industry ERP systems preferred Strong knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures
