POSITION
Summary:
The Global Supply Chain Process and Governance Lead will report to the Global Supply Chain Director, who will be responsible for the following:
The creation, global review, approval, change management, implementation, and storage of VAALCO Energy, Inc.
Global Supply Chain Standards & Policies, Processes and Procedural Aid Documents.
The creation, global review, approval, implementation, measurement reporting and corrective action requirements of Global Supply Chain governance key performance indicators (KPIs).
Lead the Global Supply Chain Organization with regards to ERP implementation, procedural change management and global adoption and utilization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Creator and business owner of a Global Supply Chain Management Business Process Framework Co-Author with Global Business Partners Global Standards and Procedures supporting Global Supply Chain Management Creation, roll-out and periodic optimization of Global Supply Chain Process Flow Diagrams Creation, roll-out, data collection and reporting of globally agreed Supply Chain Governance KPIs SCM focal point for ERP implementation and adoption Global focal point with regards to questions relating to Global SCM ways of working Build and maintain working relationships with overseas Business Unit Leaders to drive Global SCM operational efficiency while maintaining global governance requirements.
Global responsibility for Global SCM document retention and change control Provides procedural advice and guidance to international Global SCM organizations.
Travel to VAALCO Energy, Inc.
global locations for in-person change management requirements supporting newly created Business Process Management Framework and ERP implementation and adoption.
EDUCATION & REQUIRED
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Business Administration Masters degree in supply chain management (preferred) 10 years of experience in a global upstream oil and gas organization supporting Global SCM Business Process Management and/or Governance.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) Proficient in Visio Proficient with ERP utilization Senior level experience in creating and/or design improvement with regards to Global Supply Chain Standards, Procedures and Process Flow Diagrams Proficient with Change Management Concepts Strong understanding of upstream oil and gas Global SCM Plan to Pay (P2P) activity.
Strong attention to detail Senior level skill with regards to managing priorities and deliverables Excellent written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and external parties.
Able to meet tight deadlines and project deadlines.
Excellent ability to problem solve and think critically, helping to move projects along where required.
Experienced with working in multi-cultural teams in international oil and gas operations.
