Beyond Finance is seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist with 1-3 years of experience or industry best practice certifications, such as the Google IT Support Certification, to join our growing IT support team.
This entry-level IT support role will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our hybrid workforce, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for customer service.
This role requires availability to work on-site at our Houston, TX office Key
Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network, and peripherals.
Respond to support requests via tickets, emails, and phone calls, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Google Workspace applications, such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Meet, and other related services.
Assist with user account management, including creating, modifying, and disabling accounts in accordance with company policies.
Set up, configure, and maintain end-user devices, such as laptops, and desktops.
Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software applications, ensuring compatibility with company systems and compliance with licensing agreements.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and implement IT projects.
Develop and maintain IT documentation, including knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs.
Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and relevant certifications to improve technical knowledge and skills continually.
Perform other IT support duties as assigned by the Sr.
IT Operations Manager
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in IT support or a relevant IT field, or equivalent industry certifications, such as Google IT Support Certification.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems, particularly Windows and macOS.
Familiarity with Google Workspace applications and administration.
Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience working in a remote or distributed work environment is a plus.
