Revenue Accounting Manager

An employer in Downtown Houston is looking for a Revenue Accounting Manager to join their Accounting team.
This person will be responsible for managing the revenue distribution and royalties for operated and non-operated properties.
They will oversee the month-end close, cash application process, and accounts receivable balances resulting from revenue bookings.
They will manage the marketing and production accounting teams, so previous supervisory/management experience is important.
They will coordinate with several departments to ensure timely and accurate payment and reporting.
This person will act as a subject matter expert with respect to Revenue Accounting projects and system implementations.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Master's Degree8
years of Oil and Gas Production and Revenue experience 2
years of supervisor/management experience Technical accounting skills (accounting systems, GAAP, financial analysis) Knowledge of Excalibur or Bolo Experience with SAP PRA and SAP Financial Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, Power Pivots, H-lookups, complicated spreadsheets) Experience with System Implementations Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Recommended Skills Accounting Systems Accounts Receivable Certified Public Accountant Finance Financial Analysis Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
