About the Role:
We are looking for a bilingual (English and Spanish) Medical Assistant to join our Clinical Team in Houston.
Reporting to our Director of Nursing, you'll play an essential role in conducting Annual Wellness Visits for our members.
You'll set up and perform comprehensive assessments in compliance with the Annual Wellness Visit, either at home or in a clinic, depending on the member's preference.
Location:
The position is based in Houston, Texas.
The applicant must have reliable transportation for travel.
Schedule:
Flexible schedule based on contract terms.
Compensation:
$20 per completed Annual Wellness Visit, inclusive of paid training.
Up to 9 visits per day! What You'll Do:
Perform complex patient-oriented testing procedures.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient privacy.
Deliver a warm, caring experience for our members.
Maintain high member satisfaction and efficient communication.
Who You Are:
You're a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program with at least 1 year of experience.
You are proficient in telemedicine tools and comfortable in an in-home setting.
Full COVID-19 vaccination, Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers or CPR/AED is required.
Experience in an Internal Medicine office and a Phlebotomy certificate is preferred.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
