Data Analyst
An employer in Houston, TX is seeking to add a Data Analyst and a Senior Data Analyst to their team.
The Data Analysts must have experience with Oracle ADW, Oracle BI, Azure Data lake storage, Synapse, Azure Data Factory within the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse space, as well as supporting BI solutions and analyzing, recommending, and implementing improvements.
They will be responsible for gathering business requirements related to data sources, data mapping, data cubes and all business intelligence needs, and then analyzing and interpreting the data using data modeling tools.
Additionally, they will design and build reporting solutions and dashboards leveraging Power BI.
Other responsibilities include:
perform adhoc analysis using SQL and build reports to meet business requirements; develop and execute system test plans and plans for deploying business intelligence solutions into production using ITIL framework; troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with business intelligence solutions; partner with developers and business analysts to correct issues in the use and/or functioning of reporting solutions; evaluate user proficiency and provide guidance, assistance, and training to users of business intelligence tools.
Will also conduct regular audits of reports and dashboards using Oracle and other data sources.
Must be willing to work onsite hybrid
half day Fridays.
Any advanced certificationsExtensive experience in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse space- supporting BI solutions, analyzing, recommending and implementing improvements, and developing and delivering trainingProficient with tools such as Oracle ADW, Oracle BI, Azure Data lake storage, Synapse, Azure Data FactoryWorking knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ITIL and implementation management methodology such as AIMUnderstands the principles of business and IT strategy within the organizationUnderstands the principles of project management, system configuration and user acceptance testing and the link to requirements documentationBachelor's Degree in related field Recommended Skills Acceptance Testing Auditing Business Intelligence Business Requirements Dashboard Data Modeling Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
