Administrative Analyst in Research Compliance
UTHealth is looking for an Administrative Analyst to work in our Research Compliance area.
This employee provides analytical staff services to assist in the completion of program/project functions.
They will work with a research coordinator and assist them with various functions such as processing intakes, screening potential participants for clinical trials, and create correspondence for clinical outcomes and inquiries.
You will assist with protocols and functions that may be dictated by the Institutional Review Boards over UTHealth's research.
This is a full time position that is classified as salaried and non-exempt.
It is eligible for all UTHealth benefits including healthcare paid for by the employer and participation in a pension plan run by the State of Texas.
You will also be given paid time off as well as sick time, and be able to take all holidays recognized by the State of Texas.
You will work in our University Professional Building which is in the heart of the Texas Medical Center.
This building is located on the Metro rail line, and also their bus routes.

Summary:

Position Key Accountabilities:
Researches, collects and analyzes large amounts of information to present data relevant to studies or projects.
Provides staff support to assist various committees.
Prepares written or database reports and ensures that information is in a format that will facilitate the studies or projects.
Edits materials and reports.
May maintain project database records and back up project files.
May gather materials and prepare Request for Grants and Proposals to assist in timely submission of for needed funding.
Reviews literature, conducts interviews and surveys as deemed necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in research in lieu of education.
Minimum
Experience:
One year of responsible professional experience.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
