Purpose/Key Objectives of the JobThe role of Technical Assistant II is to support activities in line with department, R&D project and functionalstandards in one or more of the following areas with direction from their line manager or supervisor:
Developing new products and technologies Developing fundamental understanding of key coating attributesTesting / support of existing technologies, products and processesResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities for this role will include:
Manufacture, testing and support of existing technologies, products and processes, e.
g.
carry out experimental and standard paint manufacture, QA, testing and applicationManages the day to day requirements, planning and delivery for assigned support activities as agreed with line manager or supervisor on a weekly basis e.
g.
proposes and plans simple work programmes and conducts work programmes for complex tasks assigned by line manager or supervisorConsistently and effectively communicates progress and issues with line manager or supervisor on a verbal or written basisUses best practice/past solutions to carry-out laboratory work programmes for review with manager or supervisor.
Documents work using the appropriate reporting systemsConduct, participate and evaluate trials/inspections under supervisionIdentifies improvement needs and generates ideas for improvementactivities/projects for discussion with line manager.
Could participate in an improvement teamFamiliar with relevant experimental, development and/or analytical approaches or techniquesMaintains a safe working environment e.

member of 5S team, supports H&S engagement audits, supporting BBS processes, understands hazards associated with handling chemicals Recommended Skills Analytical Auditing Chemistry Testing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
