Job descriptionCampos EPC is currently looking for an Engineer I - entry level engineering role located in Houston, TX.
Full time position.
They are responsible for working with Senior Engineers, Project Managers and project teams helping develop gas pipeline and station engineering projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
They will assist different teams of professionals in the execution of this work depending on the stage of the projects.
They will work closely and interactively with Senior Engineers and clients.
The Engineer I is responsible for engineering and design including recommended design criteria, material selection and equipment sizing in compliance with codes and standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThese are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.
oPerform site audits for complianceoDevelop MAOP Verification Reports for sites and facilities throughout the US.
oDevelop specifications and drawings for assigned projects including design calculations.
oDevelop project objectives, estimates and responsibilities by reviewing client requirements, project proposals and plans, and conferring with the Senior Mechanical Engineer, Program Manager, Project Manager and client representatives.
oDesign oil and gas pipelines, pipeline metering facilities, gas compression facilities, liquid pump stations, gas processing, dehydration, heaters, filter separators, and slug catchers.
oDesign hydrostatic tests, pipeline replacements, station replacements.
oDesign hydrostatic tests for pipeline segments that require a valid strength test to establish the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of the pipeline.
Review historical documents, verify prescribed test boundaries and identify potential hydrotest obstacles.
oResponsible for initial pipe sizing calculations, valve sizing, hydrostatic test design; hydraulic design, compressor designs, pump designs, interactions with regulatory and permitting agencies as well as other pipeline engineering support.
oRecommend materials and equipment for purchase, using data sheets when required.
Write equipment specifications for purchase when required.
oReview project plan and schedule changes; recommend actions to ensure project stays on-time and on-budget while meeting client specifications.
oEnsure project compliance with appropriate government regulations, safety rules, and company and client policies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEoBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) degree.

, Civil, Aerospace, ChemicaloThis is an entry level role, recent graduates preferred.
oBasic knowledge of industry codes and standards ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/CSA codes (ASME B31.

Campos EPC is currently looking for a contract Project Administrator for 8 months in Anaheim, CA.
Possibility to extend or turn into a perm position.
KEY JOB DUTIESoRetrieving files from archive room at various facilitiesoCreating Action Items and starting Hard Copy Milestone.
oReorder and separate documents to facilitate scanning.
oScan documents.
oOrganize folder and take out any documents not belonging to that well.
oRename all documents except for any test pressure documentation, as those responsible by Regulatory Pressure Test SpecialistoAssist Closeout Coordinators with any Hard Copy related issues.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
