Summary:
Responsible for daily operations with focus on Company finance and participates in the executive governing body of the Company and directing departmental activities.
Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates financial activities of the organization.
Coordinates all departmental activities to ensure fiduciary duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
Lead the accounting and financial reporting in line which includes budgeting and forecasting, statutory and regulatory reserves satisfaction, lender and investor relations and reporting, accounts payable, and probably payroll functions.
Provide to the COO and CEO financial cost and benefit analysis on key projects.
Grow and generate margin as forecast.
Provide forecast modeling of managed care contracting including shared savings and capitation as well as performance projections of GAP closures in the MCO contracts.
Lead the development of policies and procedures within the department to govern financial decision making, including budgets, expense management, and capital spending to ensure the achievement of expense management and profitability objectives.
Oversee monitoring and reporting of the financial performance of Altus ACE observing trends and safeguarding the assets of the organization.
Support the quality efforts of the ACE by overseeing the payment of provider care coordination fees payments and shared savings.
Represent the financial interests of the ACE in all required internal and external committee meetings.
Analyze performance variances and unusual trends and keep decision makers informed of significant events.
Work with the various business unit heads and their teams in monitoring operations and support alternative courses to meet financial goals.
Provide consultation and guidance to organizational leaders on all matters related financial management practices and operational performance.
Assist in the preparation and reporting of the annual financial plan and assess/advise on its execution throughout the year to achieve performance objectives.
Manage treasury management, banking relationships, investment evaluations, and debt decisions for the Company.
Support annual external and third-party audits.
Responsible for compliance by developing and adhering to Altus ACE policies and procedures.
Maintain matrix reporting relationship to the CEO or designee of CEO.
Support the growth of the company through career planning, development, supervision and counseling of the finance department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance Master's degree (M.
S.
) or equivalent in business, finance or health system finance preferred Minimum 3 years' experience serving as a Manager/Director of Finance or above; Minimum 3 years' experience working within a health care organization Knowledge of all accounting processes including accounts payable, payroll and general accounting practices; A key understanding of the healthcare industry and managed care.
Strong track record of compliance with state/federal financial reporting requirements Ability to prepare financial statements and operating reports that accurately reflect the Altus ACE's performance.
Certificates and Licenses:
