Compliance Coordinator

Overview:
This position, under the supervision of the Compliance Director, assists in implementing and upholding procedures and policies that meet government standards for Avenue 360.
Will also assist with ensuring that all grants and/or contracts managed by Avenue 360 meet compliance related requirements.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assists Compliance Director with the monitoring of the effectiveness and overall operation of Avenue360's FQHC program, to include identifying non-compliance and risk mitigation strategies within program operations.
Maintains accurate and complete records of relevant activities associated with each grant and other related business contracts.
Participates in compliance program related regulatory activities both internal and external.
When/if necessary, partners with department and project heads to review and address compliance with contract and grant requirements Collect and coordinate internal compliance data with other departments to support said departments Maintains effective communication regarding compliance requirements with staff responsible for project implementation.
Collaborates with pertinent administrative and project staff to develop and review policies and procedures to ensure contract and grant compliance Serves as support to the Compliance Director on federal community health center grant (FQHC HRSA Section 330 Grant), by staying current on grant requirements.
May maintain contact, as a designee to the Compliance Director, with the federal project officer when necessary, coordinating and making required submissions in the online HRSA portal (EHB- Electronic Handbook) as requested by supervisor.
Maintains a solid understanding of FQHC, FTCA, CDBG and other designated governmental program requirements and is familiar with information resources for these programs.
Revise compliance programs as necessary to meet changing needs Compile and analyze both internal and external information to prepare compliance audit data Provides training, when required, to relevant staff based on compliance guidelines, requirements and standards.
Performs other duties as assigned Prepares and submits non-compliance grants and contract reports as assigned and according to contractual obligations as requested by supervisor.
Reviews contract and grant implementation and provides recommendations based on compliance requirements to ensure compliance with internal policies, best practices, reporting and legal requirements, and fulfillment of contractual and budget obligations.
Audits, monitors, analyzes, and assesses grant and contract compliance as it relates to business operations to contribute on a quarterly basis to Avenue 360's enterprise risk management assessment.
Reviews, analyses and provides recommendations on enterprise risk management progress reports.
Assist the Compliance Director in the implementation of the security and privacy act and federal substance use disorder confidentiality regulations (45 CFR Part 164 and 42 CFR Part 2) Serves as a member of the Corporate Compliance Committee.
Responsible for implementation, management, and optimal utilization of a grant and contract management online system (Compliatric) for tracking and managing contracts, deliverables, and other renewing business documents Serves as part of the Policy Management implementation team to improve and update Avenue 360 policies and procedures.
Monitors and audits grant and contract related policies to determine the level of compliance.
Provides recommendations on policy improvement needs.
Education, Experience, Licensure/Certification and Skills/Abilities Related Requirements:
Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree highly preferred (Accounting or another Business-related field), minimum requirement of associate degree Minimum of three years of experience with grants and contracts, preferably at the State and Federal level Proven understanding of risk assessment and mitigation Research and reporting skills Strong statistical analysis skillsContinuing Education and Training Requirements:
Participates in training required by the funding source and/or required by licensing board.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
