The HR Coordinator will be part of a a closely knit HR team in a stable growing company and have the ability to get hands on experience in several different HR disciples as well as partner with the Senior HR leadership in ensuring that high level company programs are properly implemented and managed.

Attention- This role is currently in office and located in the downtown/Uptown area.

What will you be doing? Oversee the employee onboarding for new hires.
(Schedule new hire orientation, prepares welcome packages/letters, etc.
.
) Maintain and manage the HRIS system as needed.
(Workday) Work with Recruiters and HR Manager to ensure that new positions are created in the system and candidates are properly scheduled with Hiring managers.
Work with Benefits group in the implementation and communication of improvements to existing benefit plans.
(FMLA documentation, new baby packages, and answering routine benefits questions, etc.

) Coordinates with the Occupational Health Nurse to schedule random drug and alcohol testing and fitness for duty assessments.
Coordinates annual and ad-hoc company training programs Run ad-hoc department reports as required from Workday or other company software.
What are the required qualifications for this role? Minimum of three (3) years of experience with increasing levels of HR administrative support.
Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
Self-starter with ability to think ahead and accurately anticipate next projects, and issues with ability to provide suggested solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:
Required:
Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint (Intermediate proficiency preferred) Workday experience is a big plus.
Requires occasional travel (up to 15%) to field facilities and other offices.
Bachelors Degree required.
