Logistics Coordinator

Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will handle the daily inbound and outbound operations.
Prepare bills of lading, delivery notes, invoices, and other shipping documents necessary for shipments.
Must be able to track and trace shipments and input accurate data into the software system.
The ideal candidate will be one that is process driven, works well under pressure, utilizes technology, and is highly self-motivated.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Log and enter all inbound & outbound shipments.
Receive and update shipment status in a timely manner.
Issue shipment alerts when needed:
tracking and tracing (availability, delivery status, etc.
).
Assist with management of shipment to ensure timely delivery of cargo to customer.
Obtain and create quotes for shipments and source best method of transportation.
Accurately prepare all paperwork and necessary data entry.
Ensure regulatory requirements and proper documentation exists for shipments.
Ensures documentation is accurately processed and distributed in a timely manner.
Build relationships with all customers, agents, and service providers.
Any other duties as assigned by Manager.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Highschool education required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain.
Prior experience with WMS a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and time-management skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required) Strong organization and prioritization skills.
Unparalleled customer service skills.
Bilingual is a plus.
Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit for long periods; stand and walk frequently; and bend, stoop, and reach occasionally.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
