Upstream Supply Chain Analyst
Job Description :
Indorama Integrated Oxides & Derivatives is looking for an Upstream Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in The Woodlands, TX, Clear Lake, TX, or Mexico office.
The Upstream Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for planning production, managing, and reporting Upstream Olefins inventory balances & activity between IOD sites, with a goal of optimizing supply, demand, and inventory.
What will be expected from you?
Manage all Upstream feedstock streams & monthly flow-plans.
Report and present inventory targets and reconciliations.
Optimization of processes and inventory reporting methods.
Integral part of Upstream planning team with potential for management role.
Monitor and balance IOD finished good supply/demand to ensure customer commitments are met.
Ensure production planning at Lake Charles site covers forecasted demand.
Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate Support groups to develop inventory forecasts, coverage profiles and proactively report out on variances and potential imbalances.
Assist in creation of tools and processes designed to improve efficiency and accuracy of inventory reporting.
Analyze long-term forecasts to determine feedstock requirements to create alignment with procurement.
Assist finance group in compilation of monthly feedstock transactions.
Ensure proper communication regarding new exchange customers and vendors to SAP master data team.
Troubleshoot inventory differences on monthly basis between the plants and SAP.
Understand quality requirements at each IOD site; Look for opportunities to shift demand to fit quality profiles.
Interface with Operations and plant-specific supply chain planners to build synergies between different sites and promote unified planning approach.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
Mandatory completed 4-Year Degree.
Desirable 3
years of relevant experience.
Mandatory SAP experience.
Desirable MRP experience.
Desirable supply/demand management experience.
Desirable Microsoft Office.
(Excel & PowerPoint specifically)
Desirable Inventory Accounting basics.
