Pipeline Compliance Coordinator

POSITION
Summary:
Targa is looking for a qualified individual who can coordinate the Operator Qualification (OQ) program for Targa gas and hazardous liquid pipeline operations as well as contractors.
Candidate will be responsible for maintaining Targa employee OQ database, assisting with contractor OQ issues, provide audit support, work with third party vendors and provide training.
JOB DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Review OQ manuals in accordance with Federal and State pipeline regulatory requirements.
Work with contractors to ensure compliance with Targa OQ program Create and distribute monthly OQ status reports Provide guidance to field personnel for OQ Assist with records to demonstrate the OQ program meets requirements of 49 CFR 192 & 195 Provide training to operations personnel Stay current with changes to federal and state DOT regulations Maintain data bases for OQ records Assist with scheduling of employee OQ training Works with vendors for OQ products and updates Schedule evaluator training as needed Lead audit support during OQ regulatory audits MINIMUM ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent is required Ability to communicate with many different departments and third party vendors (Operations, Engineering, Construction, Compliance, EHS, etc.
) Must have strong understanding of 49 CFR 192 and 49 CFR 195 OQ requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent computer skills Regular and reliable attendance Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
