SR Product Owner - Workday
One of the largest food distribution companies is looking for a Sr Product Owner to join their team.
This person will be responsible for delivering value to stakeholders through the planning, execution, & delivery of one more high quality software products and product enhancements through leading and mentoring multiple agile teams or a high complexity agile product team.
Responsibilities:
- Owns people management responsibilities for 5 business analysts- Owns the development and delivery of one or multiple high complexity software product(s) in line with business needs- Owns and drives key business relationships for the product(s)- Researches and analyzes industry trends and benchmarking information as they apply to product(s)- Creates & maintains an executable backlog of product requirements- Understands, defines, and communicates prioritization of product requirements with a mind toward business value and tradeoffs- Assists with the distillation of product backlog requirements into user stories- Participates actively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives to drive team alignment on product vision and value delivery- Weighs business risks, issues, and impediments being experienced by the product team and actively assists with issue resolution- Inspects product progress throughout the sprint and is empowered to make critical decisions and accept work completed by the team- Supports product team members as they engage with stakeholders, build a backlog, and deliver workExperience implementing Workday at an Enterprise levelLeadership experienceProject Management experience with focus on design, facilitating development, testing and delivery8
years experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Business Analyst3-5 years of STRONG Workday experience having done reporting and integrations with the following modules:
onboarding, recruiting, HCM5
years experience in Agile environment with a strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban or other frameworksSound knowledge of emerging technologies focusing on cloud products, SaaS platform, or Enterprise ApplicationsBachelor's degree Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Business Requirements Coaching And Mentoring Enterprise Applications Kanban Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
