Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator organizes and help carry out HR processes, projects and ensures a positive employee experience including recruiting, onboarding, system updates, payroll, and employee record compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance Handle the MNCares office with incoming calls, greet visitors and check mailbox / inbox daily Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.
) Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, etc.
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc.
and maintain the team's agenda Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires Produce and submit reports on general HR activity Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback Manage personnel files and maintain filing system both hard copy and electronic / online records (active and terminated employees).
Work through projected online records in Paylocity.
Maintain security employment files and assist in State Security Audits Coordinate with Payroll on the service award process; track dates, request letters/signatures, order plaques, and document files Responsible for invoice processing through Nexus and P-Card purchases through Bank of America.
Ensure separation process, employment changes and new hire set up is accurate and completed timely, and per compliance requirements.
Assist with verifying employment verifications via mail and fax; manage unemployment claims Helps coordinate Annual Health Fair, Wellness Committee, trainings and MNCares Events.
Monitor common work areas for cleanliness and organization and correspond with Building Management as needed for repairs, changing light bulbs, etc.
Provide administrative support to VP of Human Resources as needed.
Additional duties and projects, as assigned EDUCATION AND REQUIRED
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least two years related experience required.
SHRM-CP credential preferred.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks and duties at outlined above.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
