245875 Houston Oil & Gas company is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst for a long term contract in Houston, TX.
The role of the Trade Compliance Analyst will assist the North American region of the company, working closely with the trade compliance and legal teams with day to day items.
The ideal candidate should be skilled in excel with working experience in SAP and data analytics.
This role is hybrid with the opportunity to work 2 days remote each week.
Responsibilities Audit/reviews for import/exports Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to validate reports, transactions and invoices Reconciling invoices and resolving discrepancies Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with SAP and SAP Reporting Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced user in Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables, formulas, if statements, logic, charts, manipulate data, analyze data and show progress).
Proficiency in Alteryx a plus.
Proficient Analytical skills Some Project Management skills A Bachelors degree or Trade Compliance Certification strongly desired Basic knowledge of export such as INCOterms, export process and regulations a plus.
Desired Skills and Competencies Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills with a focus on results orientation, customer service and change management.
Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
