Role
Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Supply Chain Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
This position will report to and collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain to ensure that procurement activities align with the company's overall supply chain strategy.

Role Priorities /
Responsibilities:
Sourcing goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms Managing supplier relationships and ensuring that suppliers deliver quality goods and services in a timely manner Conducting market research and analyzing market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities Developing and implementing procurement strategies to maximize value Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and engineering, to ensure that procurement activities align with company goals and objectives Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring that suppliers adhere to contract terms and conditions Identifying and mitigating risks associated with procurement activities Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supplier management Construct and accurately manage large, complex data sets and cost models; conduct scenario/sensitivity analysis; demand planning and forecasting.
Knowledge, Preferred Qualifications, Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating contracts with suppliers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Advanced knowledge of procurement and supply chain management best practices and methodologies Experience using procurement software and tools, such as e-sourcing platforms and contract management systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in buying heavy machinery, fleet vehicles, and/or energy services-related equipment is a plus Core Skills:
