Remote BI Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a BI Engineer for one of their premier clients in Houston.
This person will be able to work onsite or remotely from their home.
They will work directly with internal and external clients to deliver data products that drive decision-making.
He/She will be building data models, designing metrics & KPIs, and creating dashboards & data apps.
This person will approach each situation with an engineering mindset by automating, testing, use version control, optimize performance and measure outcomes.
They will also have the opportunity to spend time on learning new data skills.
The manager will specifically allocate time for you to attend trainings, try new technologies, or work on side projects that will allow you to grow with the team.
The ideal person will have experience creating dashboards in Power BI and experience in SQL.
He/She should have excellent communication and be comfortable working directly with executives and internal employees.
- Experience with DBT, which is a SWL base framework- Knowledge of building and extending core data models in Snowflake (data warehouse)- Experience with Power BI-Previous experience with Python or R- 3
years of experience working within the BI space- 2
years of experience using SQL- Experience building dashboards with visualization & designing user experiences- Previous experience designing KPIs-Excellent verbal communication since he/she will be working closely with internal executives Recommended Skills Communication Core Data Dashboard Data Warehousing Decision Making Dialectical Behavior Therapy Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
