About the Position Western Pacific has developed a administrative position to support the needs of our fast growing, multi state organization.
As a scheduling coordinator, you'll be reporting directly to the general manager and supporting the broader production leadership team.
This team will seek your expertise in managing a variety of production and scheduling programs including production leveling, delivery confirmations, date change coordination, and customer relations.
There will be opportunities to take on challenging projects, so you can be sure the job will never feel stale! Core Responsibilities Production and delivery scheduling- Execute existing production and delivery strategies to manage $48 million in annual shipments for Western Pacific's Portland locations.
Manage and streamline employment documentation and onboarding programs.
Develop long term recruitment and retention programs.
Requirements Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for the position of Production Scheduling Coordinator Must have strong demonstrated interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written).
Must be self-directed and motivated.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
Prior experience in multilevel scheduling and multitasking, and customer relations.
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with different supervisors to help drive business results.
