JOB SUMMARY The Warehouse Manager under the leadership of the Senior Manager of Production Control and Logistics is responsible for overseeing the strategic vision and day-to-day operations of a warehouse or distribution center.
This includes optimizing inventory levels, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, supervising warehouse associates and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
To be successful in this role, the Warehouse Manager must have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as technical experience in data analytics and warehouse management.
They must also have experience managing people and be able to develop, implement, and effectively administer policies, procedures and standards to optimize warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
The Warehouse Manager must have a strong focus on safety and quality control and be able to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
In addition to core warehouse management functions, The Warehouse Manager may be asked to provide support in various supply chain operation activities or functions as they pertain to business activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop and maintain inventory stratification and capacity model to drive optimized warehouse utilization.
Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and systems to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
Lead standard work management for optimal labor distribution and utilization.
Oversee slotting exercises to right-size bin and floor stock locations.
Oversee the ordering, receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
SME of warehouse management software and systems; manages the use, training, and maintenance of such.
Develop and maintain data-driven warehouse status/health metrics and dashboards that drive focus and action of continuous improvement.
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and repaired as needed.
Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and that the warehouse is a safe work environment.
Develop and maintain relationships with associates, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain records of all warehouse activities and transactions.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet company standards.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises one or more associates.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Lead, motivate and manage a team of warehouse employees, including supervisors and laborers Provide coaching, training and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity of staff Ensure that all warehouse staff comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, resolving conflicts and promoting teamwork Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders Develop and implement operational strategies, procedures and standards to optimize warehouse efficiency and effectiveness Plan and allocate resources to meet short-term and long-term goals, including staffing, equipment, and supplies Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions Manage relationships with vendors, contractors and third-party logistics providers Manage budgets and expenses, ensuring that costs are controlled and managed effectively QUALIFICATIONS Requires a bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or a related field is preferred with at least 5-8 years of experience.

While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.
Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
TRAVEL REQUIRED The job requires Minimal travel (up to 10% of the time & domestic).
The associate may be required to travel to other sites, where applicable, for business purposes.
A large amount of this travel involves driving a company vehicle.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
