Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and clients Negotiate contracts with carriers to ensure the best rates and services Manage transportation of goods and products from start to finish and serving as a liaison between carriers and shippers Handle claims and complaints as needed Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive pricing Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and customer interactions Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient process Maintain adherence to company policies and regulations Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field 3
years of experience in logistics or transportation brokering Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects Experience using transportation management systems such as McLeod, OTM, or TMS Ability to work independently and to collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience working with and posting to load boards.
