Summary:
The marketing liaison serves as the primary liaison to prospective patients and families and designated healthcare providers including:
physicians, healthcare facilities, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, and insurance case managers.
The marketing liaison will manage the overall admissions/marketing process for St.
Dominic Village skilled nursing facility/assisted living from hospital, LTACH, SNF referral to admission.
This role will require frequent travel to area referring facilities and will require a dependable means of transportation.
POSITION
Qualifications:
Previous clinical and/or sales/admission/marketing experience in skilled nursing is preferred.
Solid communication skills and ability to build and maintain local professional relationships and drive referrals is required.
Demonstrate clinical competency Possess strong assessment skills, interpersonal skills and customer service skills Work independently, and demonstrate good judgment Must have excellent organizational skills and be an effective time manager and multi-tasker Possesses negotiation and persuasion skills as well as being an active listener Computer literate with a working knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs Ability to work flexible hours as referrals demand Must possess a valid driver's license Houston Medical Center Experience preferred Job Type:
