Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our talented team.
As a Master Technician at Fosters, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive repair and maintenance tasks.
From bumper-to-bumper service to handling commercial fleet vehicle accounts, your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on different vehicle makes and models.
Utilize your expertise and experience to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform repairs and replacements of automotive components, systems, and parts efficiently and accurately.
Utilize specialized tools and equipment provided by Fosters, including ball joint press', head test kits, taps and dies, drills, hub pullers, and more.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and recommendations in a clear and customer-oriented manner.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient shop operations and provide support as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Own tools and tool box to perform automotive repairs and maintenance.
High school diploma or GED certificate.
ASE certifications are required.
5-10 years of experience as an auto technician or mechanic (preferred).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Customer-oriented attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
