Shop / Production Helper - Machine Job Shop

We're looking for a friendly, and reliable individual to join our team of Shop Helpers.
Candidates are required to perform a variety of tasks, including maintaining stock levels and keeping the shop clean.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, dependable and possess a positive attitude.
Assists workers engaged in the production of machined products by performing the following duties:

Responsibilities:
Cleans work and rest areas, machines, tools, and other equipment.
Furnishes machine operators with materials, tools, and/or supplies.
Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, and work in process by hand or forklift.
Attaches rope or grappling equipment to workpieces, to prepare the workpiece for moving by crane or job.
Picks up and takes scrap from work areas to be placed in designated area.
Fills tanks and oil cups with lubricants.
Helps lift and position workpieces.
Files, grinds, or scrapes sharp edges.
Burrs, scales, or rust from workpieces.
Sorts, marks, or tags finished work.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to quantity, size, or type of material.
Distributes materials, tools, or other stock items to production workers as required.
Marks materials with identifying information.
Opens pallets, crates, and other containers.
Expected to clean and organize work area daily during normal hours of operation.
Expected to work at least 40 hours per week during normal hours of operation unless otherwise specified by management.
Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, ability and/or characteristic needed to successfully perform essential duties and responsibilities.
Ability to understand and communicate in English (both written and verbal form).
Ability to obtain Forklift Operator's Certification.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; however, lifting aids are available and should be used for any object exceeding 30 pounds.
The employee is regularly required to stand, reach, bend and stoop.
Walking and sitting is minimal.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving machinery such as lathes, mills, forklifts, materials being transported by crane, etc.
Noise level is moderate, but continuous.
Safety glasses and steel toe shoes are required at all times.
Gloves are recommended while handling parts.
