The Manager - SEC Reporting will report directly to the Assistant Controller and will be primarily responsible for the company's external financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
The Manager-Accounting (SEC) may:
Manage, coordinate, and prepare portions of all SEC filings (Form 10-Qs and Form 10-Ks), including preparation of disclosure tie-out package Coordinate preparation of the quarterly earnings press release Review and approve all XBRL tagging Preparation and/or review of SEC and US GAAP Checklists Remain current on all SEC reporting updates/requirements and ensure compliance with such requirements Research accounting/reporting issues, as necessary/requested Prepare statutory financial statements for various of the company's legal entities, as needed Accounting for leases, stock compensation, and CECL, among others Assist in training and developing of accounting staff Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs Follow Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.

Qualifications:
:
Basic At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance from an accredited university CPA license 5 or more years of experience with a mix of public accounting and industry experience Minimum 3 years experience in all aspects of the financial reporting process of a publicly-traded company (drafting, review, editing) Preferred Certified Public Accountant Big 4 accounting experience Offshore drilling industry experience Oracle general ledger experience Excellent communication skills (both oral & written) In order to be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and submitting a copy of your resume on or before the requisition closing date of 31-March-2023.
