Production Manager

Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
Qualifications:
Some college preferred or equivalent work experience 5
years experience in same or related industry and 3 years' experience in a management position Understanding of electrical/mechanical standards, domestic and international Design/Test experience with power and electrical systems Ability to read engineering schematics, as well as previous experience in design and development engineering Specialize in areas of quality engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, production evaluation, system performance, hardware performance,product reliability, inventory control, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application Must have knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Good verbal and written communication skills Good organizational skills Job Type:
