Mark's Episcopal School is seeking a creative, organized, team player to serve as the Computer Science Teacher.
The 2nd through 6th Grade Computer Science Teacher is an important member of two Divisions:
Lower School and Middle School.
This position reports to the Head of Middle School and the Head of Lower School.
The goal of the program is to aid in developing our students' intellectual curiosities and help them to think deeply about the world through various lenses of computer applications.
We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking and student-centered professional educator who is motivated by problem-solving and leading students at this stage of their development and understands the role that technology plays in supporting the educational experience of the 21st-century learners.
Duties:
Plan, deliver and evaluate lessons Assess student learning Provide feedback and instruction to students Serve as a Middle School student advisor Engage in curricular review and mapping Nurture a partnering relationship with students and their families Assist with general technology troubleshooting and support Serve as the sponsor of the school Yearbook Communicate effectively both in writing and orally Demonstrate patience and a collaborative and joyful spirit Stay abreast of knowledge of technology resources in education Other Duties:
Participate in school meetings and parent conferences Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs Keep up to date with developments in subject area, teaching resources, and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities Maintains professional competence by attending staff development programs, curriculum development meetings, and other professional activities Work directly with the faculty on instruction and planning Regularly update curriculum on Atlas Curriculum Mapping program Participate in and/or support student and parent activities designed to involve the faculty and staff Provide materials for substitute teachers Other responsibilities as assigned Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Works in a sometimes highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time Physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds; to bend, stoop, and reach overhead Work primarily in a traditional climate controlled classroom environment Work intermittently in outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold About St.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
