7 Quick Apply Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The primary role of the individual is to manage the core donor database operations including gift processing, donor receipts/acknowledgment, and maintain integrity of donor and contributed income financial records.
Also responsible for ensuring systems are in place to monitor and report impact of philanthropic contributions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure optimized use of development database functionality to support fund raising and constituent relations goals.
Provide data quality control.
Manage development database and ancillary systems.
Work with software vendors to be sure systems remain up-to-date and functioning.
Document, maintain and modify data entry procedures and ensure that staff is operating in accordance with set procedures.
Oversee production of lists from database to engage, cultivate, and steward donors.
Offer oversight of list management and ensure that data is kept as up-to-date and current as possible.
Participate in discussions related to event/campaign planning to ensure that database is being mined to its fullest capacity.
Provide queries and reports from the database that provide the information needed to make informed programmatic decisions.
Conduct training related to database and related business functions.
Work in conjunction with VP, Development to ensure that data provided to direct mail vendors is consistent with best solicitation and data practices.
Provide analytic reports on direct mail appeals as needed.
Prepare donor recognition lists such as for recognition publications, events, or donor walls.
Develop and provide regular analysis reports to measure progress of Relationship Management program.
Develop and maintain system for management of prospect data in conjunction with Prospect Research staff.
Support Prospect Research staff with prospect and relationship management processes including communicating information to appropriate staff for action.
Ensure that restricted major gift and grant funds are being used appropriately and within a reasonable amount of time.
Prepare packaged reports and detailed ad hoc reports for development staff and board use.
Prepare restricted fund/endowment revenue and balance reports.
Performs other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience required with an established record of database management Knowledge of fund-raising principles and practices.
Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to analyze data and interpret information to develop strategy.
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a variety of demands.
Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and professionalism with strong attention to detail.
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality and privacy.
Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required Proficient with Donor Management software (Raiser's Edge) preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation Hybrid role:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
