Roles & Responsibilities Analyze & understand expected po volume for the week/month Communicate and summarize vendor & carrier on-time % Study late release vendors & coordinate with buyers to improve performance Coordinate with buyers on expediting late purchase orders Identify opportunities & revise work flow processes to increase efficiency Daily communication with vendors to ensure PO's released based on expected dates Communicate potential problems to supply chain teams & recommend solutions Coordinate with departments across supply chain to ensure success of content deliveries Maintain PO status database to ensure all recorded elements are up-to-date Communicate PO delays with buyers & update internal systems accordingly Maintain status changes & update master logs Provide weekly PO status reports for assigned PO's to supply chain teams Maintain vendor scorecard & communicate vendor on-time ship performance Identify trends and/or process improvements & recommend solutions to management Research industry best practices / benchmarks to understand other areas of opportunity Other duties & reporting as assigned by Manager Requirements &
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in business, communication or related field from an accredited university Minimum 2 years' experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Analytics Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint) Experience in Supply Chain Fulfillment, Retail Distribution Mgmt.
, Logistics, Transportation and/or Supply Chain Center of Excellence a plus High-level written & verbal communication skills Ability to work on multiple priorities with deadlines with minimum supervision Self-starter with drive and initiative to make a positive impact Detail-oriented with strong organization skills Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands:
Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis Able to lift and move up to 10 pounds occasionally Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week Benefits We offer a generous package of health, financial, professional, and work-life benefits.
