8 Full-time 11 hours ago Full Job Description The Transmission Pipeline GIS Analyst uses GIS applications to manage asset and reference data, create maps, and generate analysis to support user requests.
Candidate must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
The ability to build and maintain relationships with others, identify and communicate technology gaps and assess data to effectively problem solve are keys to success.
This position will support routine tasks for an assigned area of responsibility for Transmission assets.
What You Will Do:
Create, update, and delete features and attributes in the enterprise geodatabase.
Perform tasks using Williams standard set of GIS applications.
Create and manage spatial data.
Research, retrieve, and review documentation for data management or analysis.
Research pipeline records, such as as-builts and Material Test Reports (MTRs).
Raise awareness of GIS technology and data solutions.
Prepare, load and maintain metadata for enterprise GIS data.
Act as point of contact for internal customers on GIS related issues.
Database creation and manipulation.
Analyze and quality control of GIS data.
Develop ETL models for data conversion and geo-database loading.
Convert data from various sources such as GPS, Microsoft excel and Access files into spatial formats.
Cartographic Design.
Use ESRI products to create, verify, re-project and modify vector and raster data.
Data Transformation.
Ability to learn new technical skills and apply them with guidance and direction from others.
Analyze land acquisition, environmental, survey, construction spatial deliverables and prepare for construction or operational systems.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma/GED; completion of some college or Associate's degree in GIS, Cartography, MIS or Computer Science and a minimum of two (2) years' GIS experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Cartography, MIS or Computer Science, a minimum of four (4) years' GIS experience and a minimum of two (2) years' energy industry experience.
Previous work in pipeline transmission preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work in a high demand field office support role.
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority.
Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills.
Demonstrates ability to learn new software skills.
Experience with ArcGIS applications and tools (ArcGIS Pro experience preferred).
Knowledge of mapping/business intelligence applications, including ESRI's ArcGIS and its extensions (Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Model Builder), Intermediate knowledge of Vector, Raster Datasets, projections, coordinating systems and datums, linear referencing.
Preferred:
Knowledge of publicly available GIS datasets.
Preferred:
Experience handling confidential information.
Preferred:
Experience with FERC or PHMSA regulations.
Preferred:
Experience interpreting land or commercial agreements.
Preferred:
Experience working in standard industry data models.
Fluent in English (written, spoken).
Reports directly to Manager level position or above.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
