5 3 hours ago Full Job Description The lead BSA analyst position is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Credit Union's (BSA)/ Anti -Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures and the applicable federal regulations to protect the Credit Union from being used as conduit for illegal activity.
The BSA/AML programs include Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs).
Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Member Identification Program (MIP).
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, OFAC, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg DD, Reg D, Reg E, Reg CC, Reg Z, Reg B, Service Members Civil Relief, FCRA/FACTA, and Right to Financial Privacy Act.
Perform Enhanced Due Diligence reviews Management of the AML transaction monitoring system Audit bank documents and records including new accounts, closed accounts, ACHs, Account Maintenance and more Complete various monthly reports and research projects for management to review Process and complete SARs and CTRs in a timely manner Work daily reports including Debit Cards, AML, OFAC, FinCEN and more Assist in incoming and outgoing file transfers Review risk rating for both business and consumer accounts Perform and review 314a request Work with department to improve department workflow/efficiencies Work with other departments and Branches to obtain information and respond to questions regarding BSA issues Provide support in connection with BSA training requirements.
Perform such other functions that might be needed from time to time and assist others to complete tasks and work assignments Qualifications Required:
1 plus years of BSA compliance experience Knowledge of the AML transaction monitoring system -including performing annual system validation.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Organizational skills Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong ability to multi-task, adapt well to changing priorities and prioritize workload Self-starter who will seek out opportunities to help/support whenever possible Ability to work within a team environment Excellent customer service skills Willingness to be flexible Working Knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
