The Dioxins Analyst will be responsible for using advanced knowledge to complete sample analysis on the most complex projects and data interpretation in the laboratory.
Dioxins Analyst has the following duties:
Method development for one or multiple laboratory groups.
Work mostly independently from a supervisor or manager.
Perform work requiring advanced knowledge using requiring consistent exercise of discretion and judgement.
Have the ability to train individuals on complex laboratory tests at the highest level.
Be diverse in instrumentation capability.
Identify and report quality problems to supervisor.
Perform routine or complex instrument maintenance.
Understanding and approving methodology changes which affect operations in the laboratory.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Masters' degree is preferred.
Bachelors' degree is required.
0 - 5 year of laboratory experience is preferred.
Experience with GC-HRMS and Dioxins/Furans analysis preferred but not required Core Competencies:
Solid understanding of mass spectrometry theory and tuning techniques.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
