n n A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT BARTENDER n In this food service position, you are essential to the experience of the guests at our food service establishment.
You start each shift by prepping all the ingredients and dishes you'll need for the night.
Once everything is prepped, you open the bar.
When customers approach, you greet them cheerfully.
You take their orders, answering any questions they have about our drink menu.
Then, you mix their drinks, keeping a conversation going with the guests as you do so.
As you work, you make sure to keep the bar clean and tidy.
Additionally, you create new delicious concoctions.
You love working with our customers and take pride in the customer service you provide! n n QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT BARTENDER n n Current Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) license n Food handler's permit n n Do you have good interpersonal skills? Can you work independently and with others? Do you have exceptional customer service skills? Are you detail-oriented? Can you work quickly without sacrificing the quality of your drinks? If yes, you might just be perfect for this food service position! n n WORK SCHEDULE FOR A RESTAURANT BARTENDER n This restaurant bartending position can be full-time or part-time.
Our full-time Restaurant Bartenders typically work 4 PM - 10 PM, and part-time Restaurant Bartenders work 4 PM - 10 PM shifts on weekdays, with 11 AM - 4 PM and 4 PM - 12 AM shifts on weekends.
