Summary:
The Vice President of Marketing & Communications (the VPMC) is a proven leader with strong business instincts and a track record of developing strategic and creative solutions to address organizational needs and opportunities. The incumbent must possess exceptional communications and staff management skills, and given Primoris' growth rate, deep experience taking an organization to the next level. The VPMC is expected to build, motivate and lead the Marketing and Communication team , and closely collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations. The VPMC will prioritize between competing needs and be comfortable with change and ambiguity as well as possessing a strong bias for action. Prior experience in a matrixed work environment is essential. PRIMARY JOB
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications Strategy. Develops, implements, and oversees Primoris' marketing, brand, and communications strategy to advance our Services , organization, and growth initiatives. Designs and executes a high ROI integrated marketing & communications plan utilizing creative marketing initiatives, PR, digital platforms and social media, to drive client and market engagement. Taps into Primoris' experience using technologies--including web design, social media channels, and third-party platforms. Event Programming & Public Relations. Management and Leadership. Role model to others by creating and maintaining a positive and productive work environment and supporting ongoing development of staff; working in close collaboration with internal partners and Primoris' leadership team. Provides effective management and collaboration within the Marketing and Communications team to ensure that it functions in a collaborative, inclusive and productive fashion that relies on Primoris' core Values and strengthens Primoris' culture. Serves as trusted communications advisor to Primoris' executive team and leadership. Applies leadership competencies to lead by example as an individual learner and team player; demonstrates the ability to build trusting relationships with all roles and ranks. Demonstrates integrity and accountability at all times. Evaluates and reports out on the Marketing and Communication's deliverables to the Executive Leadership Team and functional units. Manages and executes a full suite of external and internal communications products and services. Builds communication relationships with all levels of internal clients including the senior executives and works directly with these key internal clients to deliver their communications priorities. Supports the Sales team Marketing efforts through multimedia content development and Sales tool development. Develops communication plans for a variety of initiatives across the organization. Works collaboratively. Oversee branding guidelines, and branded materials. COMPETENCIES:

Demonstrated accomplishments in managing a wide range of marketing and communications related activities, preferably within an agile, entrepreneurial, high-growth environment. A minimum of a BA degree, with a Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 10 to 15 years of senior-level marketing & communications experience leading national, multi-faceted initiatives, including at least five years of management and leadership, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Advanced writing and editing skills. Able to communicate technical information to a variety of audiences. Superior event management skills. Strong communications consultation, inter-personal, negotiation, and collaboration skills. Strategic and creative thinker. Strong project management skills. Ability to perform effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Demonstrates success in complex project management and advancing multiple projects simultaneously with exemplary organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to maximize technologies such as web design, social media channels, and third-party platforms to create pathways that engage the online user and promote Primoris' mission. Exemplary organizational, staff management and relationship-building skills with a wide range of internal audiences including executive leaders and strategic partners. Sound business judgment and ability to manage shifting priorities and competing deadlines to ensure accuracy and high-quality standards while applying a systems view of outcomes and impact. Exceptional writing, communication and public speaking and presentation skills. Proven financial management experience, including the preparation and management of budgets and contracts. Penchant for problem-solving and collaborating with different teams in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial work environment. Initiative to take on new projects and continually exhibit a positive, proactive attitude towards all tasks and people. Willingness to be hands-on in a role that is demanding and requires a high level of energy, relationship building, and staff development.

Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
