Kleinfelder is seeking a Environmental Project Manager and Client Account Manager to be a team member and leader in our Houston, Texas office. The qualified applicant will be focused on environmental services (assessment / remediation / compliance) and will work with other leaders to support and expand our client accounts while providing management of projects. Understands financial management concepts and uses the right tools to manage budgets. Effectively prepares scopes and fees for new or additional work with appropriate staffing, rates or billing structure, and target multiplier. Exceeding client expectations through exceptional client service. Takes care of invoicing, scheduling, collections, and other PM duties in a timely and accurate manner. Develops achievable and detailed schedules and works with project team to adhere to schedules and deadlines. Effectively communicates and coordinates with client and project stakeholders to keep project on budget and schedule. The successful applicant will need to understand our clients' business and work with our technical expert teams to develop innovative solutions and sound recommendations to meet their needs along with the following
Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and managing client accounts in the Petrochemical / Industrial Chemical industries. Identifying and developing project opportunities for new work and/or expanded services for new and established clients. Coordinating project delivery and proposal teams with clear and succinct communication as to the client requirements and differentiation strategy. Addressing client questions and requests, communicating with clients, following procedure to solve client problems, understanding full range of company services, maintaining pleasant and professional image. Conducting positive negotiations with ability to seek common ground, articulate own and other's goals, and stay focused on positive outcome. Developing strategies that utilize Company's strengths and innovative thinking to gain a competitive advantage. Is attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, looks for improvements continuously, monitors quality levels, finds root cause of quality problems, owns/acts on quality problems. Targets and achieves results, provides leadership, motivation, and mentoring to staff. Education/ Certifications:
B.S. degree in Engineering or related Technical Program required.
Experience:
10 years of related experience, 3 - 4 years project related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations required. 1 - 2 years coordination/supervisory experience preferred. Travel:
Initial focus on Houston and surrounding area. Ability to visit and service clients in South Texas and the Beaumont area required. This position may require work on projects requiring full vaccination from COVID-19. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Environmental EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
