Kleinfelder's South Texas Team is seeking a Pipeline Project Manager to work and support our client's Oil & Gas Infrastructure Removal projects in South Texas. The successful candidate will demonstrate skills in project management / engineering duties to assist in decommissioning and removal of oil & gas infrastructure projects, which includes, but is not limited to work plan development, bid document preparation, evaluation of subcontractor bid packages and management of field execution of the work. Key responsibilities include:
Effectively manages all phases of project delivery including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing. Works effectively with project support staff to monitor and control project to achieve financial target metrics for all projects. Mentors and coaches project team members and provide constructive feedback on team member performance. Executes project to meet or exceed client expectations while meeting industry standard of care. Follows and adheres to all federal and state regulations, client requirements and contracts, and company policies and procedures. Maintains and drives the Kleinfelder culture of safety. Education/Certification Required, Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university. Preferred, Professional Engineer (PE). Skills & Experience 6 - 7 years of related experience, 3 - 4 years project related experience and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations required. 1 - 2 years coordination/supervisory experience preferred Working understanding of pipeline standards and industry accepted practices. Computer skills required:
AutoCAD 3D, MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) This position may require work on projects requiring full vaccination from COVID-19.
