Basic Function Position is for a senior manager working as part of the Controller, External Reporting and Policy leadership team, the position will oversee the accounting and analysis for company's debt, financial instruments and hedge accounting. Duties include review and analysis of global hedge accounting and reporting as well as partnering across functions to evaluate new strategies and assess accounting impacts. This role interfaces heavily with Treasury, Tax, and External Reporting. Roles & Responsibilities Global process ownership of accounting and reporting for debt, financial instruments and hedge accounting under US GAAP and IFRS. Prepare quarterly and annual SEC/IFRS reporting disclosures. Accounting oversight of monthly close activities such as review of journal entries, analysis of general ledger account balances and preparation of supplemental schedules related to financial instruments. Provide insights and analyze various complex derivatives and hedging strategies proposed by Treasury, Tax or the business, providing in depth technical research and advise on the structure of transactions to achieve specific accounting treatment for the different risk management programs, including interest rates, foreign exchange rates and commodities price risks. Coordinate fair value and effectiveness assessments with third party service provider ensuring completeness of the reports. Drive continuous process improvement, review controls in place to identify gaps in internal controls within the financial instruments and hedge accounting functions and perform SOX 404 controls maintaining evidence of control for areas of responsibility. Collaborate cross functionally and communicate effectively with various departments throughout the organization including serving on key projects. Serve as liaison with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, External Reporting, and Consolidations. Provide day-to-day management, direction, development, leadership, and support to two direct reports. #LI-JC1 #LI-Hybrid Min. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required. Minimum of 10 years of related accounting experience. CPA, CA, ACA or RA is required. Public accounting experience is a plus; but not required. Industry experience is highly valuable. In-depth understanding of Financial Instrument and Hedge accounting under US GAAP and IFRS. Experience with Internal Controls and SOX/404 requirements. Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of SAP or other large ERP systems and OneStream preferred. Ability to work extended hours during various times of the month/year. Critical Competencies/Behaviors:

Salary Range:
$150K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
