Responsibilities:
Participate in opportunity reviews to decide tendering strategies (Gate B). Review and validate timelines required to develop proposals. Lead the tender team in coordination with other function heads (engineering, supply chain, project services and execution). Participates in the tender evaluation, assessment and response process with Sales & Legal to ensure Contract-related items are properly addressed. Review, raise exceptions and negotiate proposed Client Contracts in tenders. Ensure data from estimations, budgetary, and firm proposals are validated through proper tools and processes. Apply standard work instructions to ensure the tender team follows required steps to develop proposal; Approve proposal content to ensure appropriate reviews are applied (Gate C). Ensure coordination with the sales team. Minimum Job Qualifications Degree qualified, preferably in engineering. >12 years work experience in at least two of the following fields:
Mechanical Engineering / Systems, Engineering, Project Management, Fabrication, Tendering, Sales and Sourcing. Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of process equipment. Familiar with reviewing/complying to EPC contracts and specifications. Very good attention to details. Organized and able to manage many competing priorities. Excellent communicator (written and verbal). Comfortable speaking to a large senior audience. Strong commercial acumen. Able to deal with high pressure/stress and tight deadlines. Fluent in Spanish (speaking/reading/writing) is a plus. Capable of influencing a large geographically dispersed team. Comfortable working across time zones.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
