Project Controls - Engineering Progress Specialist Job Description The position is accountable for the performance of the project controls discipline. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and procedures estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling. Job Responsibilities Oversee the project's performance through practical application of data management. In=depth understanding of project controls processes that include earned value, scheduling, cost controls, change management, and risk management. Evaluate project health status and maintain effective communication with project leadership Ensure that project controls systems and processes are implemented and continue to deliver accurate project status. Interdisciplinary communications with engineering disciplines leadership and project management to coordinate project activities and inputs. External communications with client, subcontractors, and joint venture partners for coordination on data integration and reporting. Review and audit cost, progress and schedule reports that are prepared regarding project controls. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or similar) 15
years of experience in Project controls. Advanced skills with reporting through Microsoft Power BI. Preferred active PMP and/or AACE Certification or the interest/ability to achieve these certifications Proficiency in, project health assessments, cost analysis, forecasting, budget development, P6 and scheduling techniques and variance reporting techniques. Experience in managing analytical and data-centric project controls. Must be able to self-lead and communicate effectively to all levels of project team, including management and clients.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
