Position Summary The Manager - Tax Reporting will manage the quarterly and annual tax provision including estimated annualized tax rate, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, tax controls and other tax accounting tasks. The role is approximately 70% tax/financial reporting provision, 20% tax compliance, and 10% tax research/planning. Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL Manage the quarterly and annual income tax provision (ASC 740) calculations and provide appropriate SEC disclosures. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement with the provision and compliance process, especially with respect to utilization of technology. Review and confirm quarterly tax account reconciliations. Research tax accounting issues and document company position and impact. Collaborate with the Compliance Manager in the preparation of the Federal and State Income/Franchise tax returns. Support IRS and state/local audits. Assist with internal and external reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and liquidations. Manage SOX compliance and improve upon processes and internal controls. Qualifications REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field. Minimum seven (7) years of corporate and/or public tax experience with emphasis on global ASC 740 preparation and consolidation. Minimum five years' experience with tax provision software and setup. Minimum two years' experience with tax footnote and 10K disclosure preparation. Minimum two years' experience working in a global and cross-functional environment. Strong research, communications, and organizational skills. Complete knowledge of Microsoft Office. CPA or CPA candidate. DESIRED Masters in Taxation Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials and One Source Compliance (OIT) Software. Prior managerial or supervisor experience. An understanding of purchase accounting (book and tax), accounting and tax FX gain/loss calculations and fixed asset depreciation.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
