Position Description:
Our Customer Services department is looking for an Application Engineer to support the sales effort of the Automated Quality Control division in the US. In this key position for the customer experience, your mission will also be to ensure that projects are completed within the required deadlines, quality and technical specifications. You'll be responsible for Carrying out external A-QC service projects such as the creation and optimization of robot trajectories, off-line programming and simulation, support for the design of assemblies adapted to 3D scanning and support for integration; Integrating Creaform systems during the installation of robotic solutions on customer sites and, if necessary, coordinate the various service providers Performing robotic programming and mechanical assembly during installation, as well as validation tests; Supporting the sales force with simulations, technical advice, solution definition, demonstrations and technical validations. Your projects will lead you to Provide training on specialized automation products and software; Act as a technical reference at sales and marketing events (trade shows, product launches, exhibitions, etc.); Provide support to the robotics applications after-sales service team (remotely or on site); Participate in various stages of product development; Contribute to technical writing by creating, updating and revising documentation; Create, prepare and lead technical workshops at internal training events. Work closely with the sales and service departments, as well as with the team of technical experts in the metrology department. Participate in strategic thinking, knowledge development and continuous improvement and process deployment in collaboration with the A-QC Operations Manager. Position Requirements:
You have the profile we are looking for if you Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field Have a strong background in robotics; Are willing to travel (approximately 50%, primarily within the United States); Have strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills; Are an autonomous and resourceful individual; Have strong customer relations skills; Have demonstrated leadership in previous experience.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
