The Contracts Manager will support the Surface Americas and Measurement and Production Solutions Business Unit mainly for the NAM geo-market. Primary responsibilities include the drafting, review, negotiation and administration of all customer facing contracts with existing and potential TechnipFMC customers in order to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and TechnipFMC Policies and Standards. Job description Drafting, review, negotiation and administration of customer revenue contracts within the scope of the Surface Legal GBU, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and TechnipFMC Policies and Standards. Performs direct negotiation of new contracts and contracts' amendments with prospective and existing customers, via teleconference or in person as required. Ensures contractual terms are agreed, accepted and incorporated into the contract. Oversees the complete life cycle of a contract (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution). Assists the Tender and Sales departments in the preparation of project bid proposals by communicating contract and commercial processes to ensure consistency in the tender and execution stages, in compliance with TechnipFMC Policies and Standards. Interfaces with financial and project personnel for contracting strategies. Supports the Management Team in the identification and assessment of contractual risks and, when applicable, prepares and distributes Deviation Approval Forms in order to obtain the appropriate written approvals for any deviations from TechnipFMC Policies and Standards. Contributes to business strategy by proposing and implementing creative solutions that further business objectives while minimizing or mitigating risk. Advises and assists all departments and personnel within the company on various matters associated with contract activities, performance, project problems, claims and other company potential issues requiring interpretation and resolution. Coordinates with Tax department to address the TechnipFMC's legal compliance with US export and anti-boycott regulations and technical data regulations including re-export requirements Provides training and workshops on TechnipFMC legal and contract policies, standards and methodologies to relevant stakeholders. Manages, maintains and uploads all assigned contractual and commercial documentation within TechnipFMC's proprietary systems. Supports and collaborates with other team members. Participates in team meetings. You are meant for this job if Bachelors degree required. Minimum of six (6) years' experience in legal, commercial and contractual matters in a corporate environment with the ability to identify, analyze, interpret and mitigate legal risk, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Outstanding negotiation skills and experience. High level of integrity and ethics. Ability to work independently under general guidance and/or self-initiative with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage priorities and meet individual and team deadlines. Able to solve practical business problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to provide consultative advice to all levels of management and employees with effectiveness and with the appropriate level of sensitivity. Demonstrates exceptional planning, interpersonal and communication skills. PC skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, project, and presentation software (MS Office). Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, performance management, and respond appropriately. Ability to understand and communicate within diverse cultural environments is critical. Preferred Qualifications Juris Doctorate, Masters of Law (LLM) or equivalent Fluently speak, write, and interpret Spanish and Portuguese. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
