Environmental management system & compliance related programs/initiatives within the specified geographical area in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, Company, and relevant industry standards (e.g. ISO 14001). In addition, you will act as the Environmental Subject Matter Expert and the contact point to our Research, Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Business Unit and will lead environmental initiatives that contribute to the achievement of HSE Compliance & Services objectives and alignment strategies. Job description MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the implementation of Environmental management system & compliance related programs/initiatives within the specified geographical area in compliance with the requirements and strategies established by the Company, relevant industry standards (e.g. ISO 14001), and the applicable regulatory requirements in partnership with other Business Units. Coordinate and support the preparation of Environmental reports, Toxic Release Inventory (TRI), hazardous waste biennial reporting, and wastewater Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) and ensure accurate recordkeeping. Manage and coordinate waste management, stormwater pollution prevention, spill prevention & counter measure programs and supervise remediations across sites within specified geographical area. Review analytical data, waste profiles, and provide guidance and direction to Site HSE teams and contractors. Provide Environmental expertise and guidance to GBU/REMS HSE and HSE Compliance teams. Establish Environmental compliance related training programs/materials and provide technical training to support the development of Environmental related competencies. Manage and lead Environmental compliance audits/ assessments of GBU/REMS facilities; from planning to closure; including providing technical support to deploy suitable Environmental compliance programs to the needed sites. Partner with other Business Unit teams on the Environmental affairs to promote compliance with regulatory requirements and TechnipFMC global policies/ standards/ initiatives. Facilitate interactions with external entities (e.g. registrar/certifying bodies/agencies) and the organization with respect to Environmental compliance requirements. Manage Environmental external/internal regulatory requirements; including updates and changes; communicate these requirements to the organization to ensure compliance. Participate in the Environmental Working Group (EWG) to identify and develop suitable Global Environmental programs/initiatives in alignment with the Global Environmental Roadmap. Lead the Environmental compliance related process development and standardization within the specified geographical area, including processes and tools within the HSE Compliance and Services team. Manage the consolidation of input to Environmental compliance metrics and summaries, analyze the information and provide recommendation for improvements, and partner with the organization (relevant and applicable sites) to identify actions. Lead and implement continuous improvement efforts in the Environmental management system and services to eliminate waste, reduce cost, and improve HSE performance. Support the deployment of Environmental centralized services programs within thespecified geographical area. Lead the HSE compliance & services related activities/ initiatives and management of licenses, certifications/registrations, and permits within the specified geographical area, mainly in the area of Environmental. Primary activities include providing Environmental technical expertise, support, and guidance through assessing, establishing, implementing, and continually improving Environmental management system, processes, and programs to drive sustainable compliance. Partner with the organization to carry out activities to meet Customer, Company, and regulatory compliance and support improving its effectiveness and efficiency on a continual basis. Engage and interface with regulatory agencies, prepare required documentation and reports on Environmental related matters. Review Environmental regulations to determine applicability and update site compliance calendar and obtain necessary Environmental permits, as needed. No budget responsibilities. Bachelor's Degree/ Tertiary Education in Environmental related discipline, or equivalent qualification. 5-8 years' work experience; with preferred
Experience:

years Environmental related experience (management system, regulatory compliance, processes, and programs). 5
years in process improvement experience. 3
years in supervisory experience. Environmental Lead Auditor from a recognized certification body. Ability to deliver valuable business results (improvement in cost, lead time, quality and operational efficiency).Strong ability to build and maintain relationships vertically and horizontally within the organization. Strong facilitation, networking, & communication skills. Able to demonstrate capability of leading a cross-functional team. Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills. Specialized knowledge in the application and implementation of Environmental management system, standards, and programs, but not limited to Environmental compliance obligations, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting Program, auditing and assessments, and KPI reporting. Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 Management System with working knowledge of ISO 45001 is essential. Fluent in written and spoken English. NEBOSH/ REM/ CHMM/CSHO or other certifying bodies for Environmental certifications. Added advantages:
Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Fluent in other languages, preferably the language used within the specified geographical area
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Environmental Health & SafetyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
