Principal Health, Safety & Environment Program Manager - Energy

Robinson is seeking a Principal Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Program Manager to support our energy vertical by ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance across vertical operations. You will play a pivotal role in creating and implementing HSE policies, programs, and projects with a focus on oil & gas, public utilities, and renewables. As the Principal HSE Program Manager, you will leverage your expertise to connect the importance of risk mitigation, employee well-being, and environmental stewardship to our customers. You will provide guidance, development, training, resources, and technical expertise that supports the HSE program while ensuring compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations. Responsibilities:
Create, implement, and enforce safety protocols within the logistics and transportation functions
Conduct risk assessments for warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities
Monitor and evaluate environmental impact related to logistics operations
Promote sustainable practices within the supply chain by addressing waste management, emissions, and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations
Partner with internal account management team members to effectively represent our services to customers by providing the depth of HSE experience, aligning with customer goals, strategies, and requirements
Establish HSE standards and organize training with sales and account management teams
Interact with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to address safety concerns
Incorporate customer-specific safety requirements and provide guidance on safety practices during customer interactions
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA)
Manage safety incident investigations, coordinating corrective actions, maintaining accurate records, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders
Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with HSE policies and devise improvement plans accordingly
Drive ongoing safety improvements and cultivate a culture of safety awareness and environmental consciousness within the 3PL environment
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
Minimum of 6 years of experience in HSE roles within the Oil & Gas industry or logistics
Prefer Certifications such as CSP, CHMM, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
Ability to travel 30%

Familiarity with safety protocols for transporting hazardous materials
Strong and effective communication skills
Excellent administrative/project skills - presentations, developing programs/policies/projects from conception to completion/result
Strong problem-solving skills
Have a positive attitude and solution seeker for all opportunities
Demonstrated experience of successfully building and managing programs/projects
Project management or equivalent professional certification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
