Responsibilities:
Work with Engineers to develop regulatory deliverables outline on a project to file the necessary well/platform/pipeline decommissioning permits to fit the need of that project to its completion, including subsequent reports with the federal agencies. File necessary permits with the federal agencies in a timely manner Communicate with federal regulatory agencies, (i.e. BSEE, BOEM, and Coast Guard) regarding status of permits. Assist operations staff with any regulatory emergencies due to operational needs and provide necessary permits to meet those needs. Support and improve processes to maintain compliance with changing regulatory requirements. Duties and responsibilities as assigned. The selected candidate must demonstrate competency in all core duties below with no supervision. Application for Permit to Drill Weekly Activity Reports (including monitoring/highlighting daily operations reports) Application for Permit to Modify End of Operations Reports Well Potential Test Reports Bottomhole Pressure Surveys Application for Surface Safety System Facilities Modification to Existing Surface Safety System Facilities Application to Install or Decommission OCS Fixed Structure Aids to Navigation Temporary Buoy Applications Applications to Install and Decommission Lease Term and ROW Pipeline s Dealing with Federal Agencies KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION &
Experience:
High School Degree or GED. Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Business or a related discipline is considered a plus. 3 years minimum experience with regulatory processes and functions, specifically within an E&P company. Possess working knowledge of a variety of Federal regulations regarding regulatory reporting or the expectation of the development of familiarity with federal/state regulations. Good organizational skills along with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently and make decisions quickly with continually changing priorities. Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, BSEE E-Well, PowerPoint, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Report to the Corporate Office daily and adhere to schedule. Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device. Ability to have face to face conversations with stakeholders, peers and management Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed Comply with company policies and procedure PHYSICAL REQIREMENTS:
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires wearing personal protective safety equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, respirators, appropriate footwear, etc.) when visiting field sites. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
