Job Purpose: Accomplishes information systems objectives by designing and monitoring all aspects of hardware and software within the company.
Responsibilities:
Sustains information systems results by defining, delivering, and supporting information systems.
Assesses information systems results by auditing application of systems.
Enhances information systems results by identifying information systems technology opportunities and developing application strategies.
Safeguards assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems.
Identifies database requirements by interviewing users; analyzing department applications, evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems.
Implementation of Sage based accounting and business software.
Website maintenance.
Good communication skills, and possess knowledge on operations of most business equipment and computer software (Microsoft) programs, IOS, LAN, WAN, Sonic Wall, Aerohive, Google Chrome
o Technical Support - Help desk
o LAN and WAN technologies
o Active Directory and other Microsoft server technologies
o iOS, SonicWall and/or Aerohive experience a big plus
BS, BA - Computer Automation, ITEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
