This is a hands-on working supervisor role expected to lead group of system analysts to deliver quality infrastructure support. The supervisor will have a solid understanding and be responsible for the computing environment including Databases, Virtualization (VMWare), Storage (NetApp), Windows Servers, coordinate with IT and Business units, Application delivery infrastructure and play a vital role in delivery of IT services.
Key
Responsibilities:
Perform capacity and performance analysis to ensure maximum operational throughput of the IT production environment.
Assist in forecasting and budgeting.
Assist Infrastructure manager in planning, designing, evaluating, implementing, and monitoring of various applications or systems.
Lead virtualization and storage efforts around capacity planning and development of long-term strategic goals for enterprise virtualization and storage infrastructure.
Work with application users and systems administrators to implement IT infrastructure including systems architectures that utilize industry best practices including Information Lifecycle Management.
Maintain redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery, backup and archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of computing environment, databases and stored data assets.
Leads and/or participates on company-wide projects for network, roll-outs of software installations/upgrades for applications/operating systems, and/or performs system integration testing with project complexity determined by proficiency/expertise.
Perform tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements with end-users regarding IT systems, including VMWare, Storage, Databases and operation systems.
Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, and resolve issues with VMWare, Network and storage devices, storage access, and data retrieval.
Provide level 2/3 support for SQL Databases and VMWare.
Monitor recovery models, database backup and restore procedures.
Perform, test backups and restores to ensure that enterprise data is effectively protected.
Monitor incidents and evaluate processes for modifications to computing environment.
Develop routines for end-users to facilitate IT best practices, including system controls.
Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and tasks for both entire IT Infrastructure including systems, VMWare, databases and application delivery systems.
Knowledge &
Experience:
10 years of experience in IT.
Minimum one year of leading a team of resources.
2 years Oil and Gas / E&P experience preferred.
Working knowledge of PMI methodology and ITIL framework.
Experience with supporting Microsoft exchange environment, Lync would be a plus.
Good understanding of the industry best practices and standards around computing system, performance tuning and troubleshooting complex database and system issues.
Proven experience to establish recovery models, database backup and restore procedures, recovery models.
Education & Certification:
University degree in the field of computer science, IT or related field is required.
Industry certification from Microsoft, Oracle, ITIL, PMI certifications (at least one is required).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
